Lots of buttons not working while editing. Seems to be theme specific.

    I am using enfold for my website and certain buttons are not working within the editing portion. I created a slider and I went to the page I wanted it on and tried clicking “advanced layout editor” and nothing happens. Further, a while back I tried editing one of the text widgets I have on my sidebar and they wouldn’t open or move. I activated a different theme, was able to edit and then changed back to enfold. Also, other buttons like the upload logo button in the enfold settings page wasn’t working, I had to upload to media and then paste url instead of uploading directly.

    Has anyone else had these issues and if so, any fixes or suggestions?

    If you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations. Doing this will provide the developer with the income they need to make WordPress awesome.

    Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

    Ok, posted on here as well incase it was a wordpress issue in itself.

    “It is obviously a theme issue so why would that be a WordPress issue?”, asking a rhetorical question.

    @afl3x – you could try deactivating your plugins – sometimes they cause problems like that. But yeah, if it’s only on Enfold, the developer is the one to ask :)!
