    Hello James,

Thank you for showing interest in our plugin.

It could be that not all 404 pages are being recorded by Google analytics. Would it be possible to check the Apache web server logs since those are the most accurate logs.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have the same issue ??

    Hello Cuta,

Google Analytics might not be recording all the 404 requests, so can you please check the web server log files to confirm if the 404 errors are actually happening?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yeah it shows, I just checked through cpanel’s defaualt awstats, but it doesn’t show when the 404 error was occurred. Also the number of 404 errors I have in awstats is much lower than what shows in audit log.

    HI Cuta,

We are working on a version of the plugin that will capture the requests generating the 404 errors. It should be available next week or by no later than the week after. Can you please wait for that update and then report back to us the status?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello All,

We just released an update that logs the 404 requests to a log file. Refer to the 2.5.2 release notes for more information.

Can you please install this version and see if the 404 requests the plugin is capturing are valid?

    Keep us posted please.
