    After the examination I have noticed that there are lots of calls to the plugin.
    Why is this happening, how to reduce them?
    Is it better to use previous version, regarding the speed?

    Thank you.

    3.6.2 works – when you have the time, patience and technical ability to make it so.

    As mentioned, I saw no auto-update. I was forced to dance with the worst side of WP. You know….

    Thanks for the update.

    @robertburr,

    Indeed, WordPress will not allow you to install the same plugin twice.
    You would have to first delete MailPoet 3.6.1, then upload and activate the new version of MailPoet 3.6.2.
    Otherwise, as you’ve seen, WordPress will not allow you to install the new plugin version and will instead return an error “Destination folder already exists”.

    Existing MailPoet data is retained on plugin deletion, so you should not lose any information.

    Best regards,
    MailPoet Team.

    Same problem. In the last two days the site has been offline 4 times (Siteground) due to excessive CPU usage. Even with the latest version, the problem remains and there is no point in reducing the sending frequency as much as possible. For the moment I was forced to deactivate the plugin, hoping that everything would be resolved so that I could continue to use it.

    Thanks in advance and sorry for my not great english.

    @divano, please make sure that you are running version 3.6.2. It fixes the issue associated with the constantly running task scheduler.
