Please help! I obviously have no idea what I’m doing. I changed my domain name and completely lost everything. I tried to log into www.remarpro.com and it doesn’t recognize my username/password. It says no email is on file for my email. I lost my entire website.

I created a new www.remarpro.com account, but how can I access the old one to at least stop payment and create a new website?

All I wanted to do was change my website name!

    Please help this desperate girl.
    Thank you!

1-What steps did you take to change your domain name?
2-Do you have access to the webhosting account connected to your site?
3-Is your domain name still connected to the proper webhosting account?
4-Do you have a backup of your files and database from before the change of domain name?

“payment”? wordpress.org never collects any sort of payment. I think you should be at wordpress.com, a completely separate organization which does offer additional benefits for a fee.

dot org offers free software and support for self-hosted websites. dot com offers various levels of service for websites hosted on their servers. They are commonly confused, you’re in good company ?? Try https://en.support.wordpress.com/

I went to the “general” page on my www.remarpro.com dashboard and changed it to the domain name I wanted to change it to, and I changed my domain name on HostGator. But now I don’t have any sort of dashboard on www.remarpro.com. I knew it was going to change the website, but I didn’t think it would lock me out of wordpress and not accept any of my log in information. It’s not recognizing my username and password that I used. It says that e-mail is not on file.

In HostGator, when I click on WP, it asks me to select the wordpress “package” I want.

Contact HostGator support to see if they can help you get things back to the original domain name so you can re-start the process properly.

If HostGator support cannot help you….
1-can you access area of HostGator called PHPMYADMIN?
2-in PHPMYADMIN area there is a database
3-in the database — look for a table named WP-Options (might have something other than WP)
4-in that table there is a way to the URL back to the original URL.
    Continue with this resource:

    Changing The Site URL

(I do not recommend changing URL using general settings in WP-Admin—I change in database and then use a search and replace plugin to fix URLs that still need to be adjusted in various areas)
