Lost Username

I brilliantly managed to forget my username back in November and have been unable to edit my site ever since. The friend who helped me set things up has been unable to troubleshoot the situation. Is there a file I can look for on my harddrive which would contain this information, or do I need to remove everything and start over if I ever want to blog again?
