I upgraded successfully from 3.0.5 to 3.1 on my multisite but lost super admin. I have deactivated all plugins and MU plugins. Manually upgraded, checked database and files all which seem to be fine. My admin menu only shows single blog menu. Everything else seems to work fine with no error messages and no complaints from users yet, just have no super admin (network) controls.

Hold on to your thinking caps, Network admin just showed up. I will post my solution if I can find it before marking as resolved.

It was indeed a plugin for branding my multi site members admin panels. I had to remove from cpanel before it worked.

How did you get it back? I see the network admin link, but certain things I can’t access that I used to be able to access.

    Like … what?

Also, generally it’s not a good idea to post follow up questions like that in a resolved thread ?? We oft assume it’s NOT someone needing help. New topics are good.

Figured it out. It was a plugin that wasn’t upgraded to support WP 3.1 Looks good now. Still enough different to be confusing.

There is that. Once you get used to it, it’s easy ?? As with all things, it sucks that to get to easy you have to pass through hard.
