• The other day I was having trouble with hyperlinks and was told to deactivate and reactivate my plugins including Jetpack. All of my subscribers were gone as were my stats and now when people resubscribe only a few show up as having subscribed. I did as I was told which was contact Jetpack support as I am assured that this is how to retrieve them yet no word after 3 days.

I am a new blogger who needs some help to get the subscribers back and also figure out why only a few of the resubscribers are showing up.

    Please and thank you

BTW I am using WP version 3.9.1 not 3.9 as I stated.

Thanks if anyone can help me I would be very grateful.

All of your plugin settings are stored in your database. your stats are actually stored on wordpress.com servers, as far as I am aware, So simply deactivating & reactivating plugins would not have caused any loss of data.

now when people resubscribe only a few show up as having subscribed

How do you know this? Are you referring to people registering as Subscribers on your site? Or something else?

Thanks. Yes I am aware that the subscribers and stats still exist. I do not know how to get them. I believe it is something to do with the blog ID changing when I reactivated the Jetpack.

As I said the solution is apparently to get Jetpack to respond to this. It is clearly stated on the support page not to panic and they will help. On some forums there are members who have had this issue and resolved it, I just do not know enough about my blog ID’s etc to figure it out.

I put a call out to previous subscribers to resubscribe thinking this might get things moving again. People responded and said that they had indeed resubscribed and got the email to confirm their subscription yet only some people are showing up as subscribed. I am convinced that my new subscribers are wherever my old subscribers are.

    Any help would be appreciated.
