    Hi Support Team,

    I have a GoDaddy Managed WordPress account. I had set up a staging site and somehow my Jetpack account became intertwined with the staging site. When readers would leave a comment on my production blog (www.AeroSavvy.com), the comment would actually post on staging and not on production.

    I logged into the staging site and disconnected Jetpack, then disconnected/reconnected Jetpack on production. I think everything’s working now, but I’ve lost my Jetpack stats. Can you take a peak?

    Any advice on using a staging site so this doesn’t happen again?
    If you need the URL of my staging site, let me know. I didn’t want to post it in public.

    Follow up… It looks like I have two blog IDs/JetPack IDs that are mixed up in my _options table and the Jetpack system. (59624132, 105465014) I tried making the jetpack_options id the same as the blog_id, but that generated an error. Still no stats.

    That’s indeed the issue here. I updated the 2 blog IDs to use the proper URLs on our end, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting / reconnecting to WordPress.com.

    To avoid that kind of problem in the future, I’d recommend enabling Jetpack’s Development mode on your staging site:
