Lost stats

We created a staging site to do some development. We disabled Jetpack on the staging site. But our main site seemed to automatically get disconnected from Jetpack, which was preferring our staging site despite it not being connected. Now we have lost 8 years of stats which we are separate to get back.
It seems to be associated with a unique Jetpack ID, but how can I fix that?
