Lost sitemap

Thanks for reaching out regarding your sitemap. Have you recently switched your site from HTTP to HTTPS? If yes, try these recommendations:

• Confirm that your WordPress Address (URL) and the Site Address (URL) are using HTTPS in WordPress > Settings > General
• Claim and verify the HTTPS version of your site in Google Search Console. This guide explains more:?https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/176793?hl=en.
• Disable the XML Sitemaps feature, save changes then re-enable it in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site Features > XML Sitemaps.
• Clear the cache from your plugin, theme, server, or CDN, such as Cloudflare. If you are unsure how to clear your server caching, please speak with your host provider.

After your sitemap has been updated, we do recommend you delete the old sitemap and submit the new HTTPS sitemap to Google Search Console. We have more tips about?moving to HTTPS.

Thank you for your reply, now I found another problem, that is I have modified the pages or created some new pages, but Yoast didn’t indicate ( or generate) new XML sitemap link, so that Google search didn’t find out my new pages.
How can I make Yoast to generate the new XML sitemap links ?

Try to disable the XML Sitemaps feature, save changes then re-enable it in WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site Features > XML Sitemaps.

Thank you for your reply, now Google Search said my pages are in HTML, not XML, so, it cannot indexe my pages, I have to convert it to be xml, but I found Yoast indicated the pages are in xml, here attached the photos,
Please tell me how can I convert these pages in xml.

Your Yoast SEO-generated sitemap at /sitemap_index.xml/ is an XML file, as expected. Please ensure that you’ve submitted only that.

I’m unsure why Google reports that your sitemap is in HTML format. However, I suspect that this could be due to the cache. Try clearing your cache from your plugin, theme, server, browser, or CDN, such as Cloudflare and?remove and resubmit the sitemap. If you are not sure how to clear your server caching, please speak with your host provider. If you need to clear your browser caching, this guide may help:?How to clear my browser’s cache?

Please also remember that for any sitemap changes, it might take a while for Google to reindex your site and provide an update report in Google Search Console (as these reports?are not real-time).
