    Hy Sumome!

We’ve a bit of problem whit the Sumome sidebars “share” value.

We changed the site from http to https, and after:
    – lost a lot of shares (changed the value from ~4000 to ~200). Example: CLICK
    or
    – lost all shares (the value is “share”). Example: CLICK

    Sumome version: 1.22

    Hey @hehehuhu!

Your share numbers are dependent on the following three things, in order of priority:

    1. Open Graph og:url tag
    2. Canonical URL
    3. Actual URL

If you have Open Graph tags set up on your pages, and they shifted from https:// to https:// when you switched to https:// then the solution is to change the og:url to reflect the previous https:// URLs.

Here’s an article from our knowledgebase which covers Share and Open Graph:

This is an example of how your plugins are missing the boat. There are competing plugins that address the http/https issue in them … vs. requiring non-tech people like me to go down the rabbit hole of open graph tags etc.
