I had a very successfully ranked site that I recently redesigned to be mobile friendly. Once I launched the new site it appears that my Google ranking has plummeted. I set up 301 redirects for any pages that I changed the URL of, and installed Yoast, why did I lose all of my SEO juice, and how do I get it back?

  • Perhaps this might help from https://moz.com/learn/seo/redirection

Be aware that when moving a page from one URL to another, the search engines will take some time to discover the 301, recognize it, and credit the new page with the rankings and trust of its predecessor. This process can be lengthier if search engine spiders rarely visit the given web page, or if the new URL doesn’t properly resolve.

Thanks, barnez. That is helpful information.
Unfortunately, people who don’t understand Google are impatient. ??

I think your concerns are 100% valid given all the hard work that goes into successful ranking. Looks like the message is just keep it up and trust the juice will soon return.
