Lost password – password reset not working

  • Hi,

    When clicking on ‘Lost Password’ it takes me to the screen where I insert my email address, click send and I receive the email confirmation. When I click on the link in the email it redirects me toe the page where I can reset my password – problem is, it doesn’t reset the password, I can still log in with my old password and the new one does not work at all.

    this is not about resetting the password in other ways – we have clients on the site that at times need to change their passwords and they cant use alternative methods than the functionality that WordPress offers and that functionality is not doing what it is supposed to at the moment… so for me as administrator its fine to follow alternative methods but its not practical for customers…
