I’m using the [pmpro_login] shortcode on a custom login page, which is also the front page of my site. When clicking the “Lost Password” link I’m redirected to the standard WordPress reset password screen (wp-login.php?action=reset_pass) and I lose the custom styling I’ve applied.

If I add ?action=reset_pass to the home URL I see the PMP reset password form. Do I need to add a custom redirect for this or is there a way of specifying the reset password page in the settings somewhere that I’m missing?

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to Paid Memberships Pro.

Please navigate to Memberships > Settings > Pages and ensure that the home page is set to the login page – this ensures that the form and password reset links all point to the home page URL where the login form is on, and should then work as expected.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Jarryd,

Thanks for getting back to me, there is no ‘home page’ option under the Membership pages settings menu (see screen shot).

I have the ‘log in’ page set to use the WP default, and in the page template for the “Home” page I’m using the [pmpro_login] shortcode.

In the Settings > Reading menu I have specified the static “Home” page as the homepage.

Thank you for your feedback. The ‘Log In Page’ dropdown should be set to the Home Page that has the pmpro_login shortcode on it so that the password reset links reference the home page URL.

    Kind Regards,
