Lost password, entered email – prompt still comes up asking for email?

As in a user goes to ‘lost password’, entered email address to have reset password link emailed to, where instead of just having the following pops up
“Check your e-mail for the confirmation link.”
one other message appears too on the same screen (the same message which prompted user on previous screen to key in their email address, i.e.
“Lost your password? Please enter your username or email address. You will receive a link to create a new password via email.”
I’ve attached a print screen of this scenario – viewable at https://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/24/h3n.png/ or as following.
So, how do I get rid of the following message (don’t want it to pop up after user keys in email address/username) “Lost your password? Please enter your username or email address. You will receive a link to create a new password via email.”
