lost password and Username

    I lost my wordpress account password for my website.

    It has an option for reset password. I do have my email address & username so I select this. I get a link allowing me to reset my password.

    After I do this, I am unable to log-in with the new password. I have reset my browser & am NOT using the cached password.

    Now the Username should work but for some reason every username I try for recover the password does that shaking fail bit. Does this mean that all my usernames are bad? How can I recover my username?

    I’ve done this reapeatedly and the last password was really simple: no chance for error. Yet I cannot login using the new password.

    How can I recover from this & why must passwords be so difficult? I didn’t lose my 1st password as it was written down, but after 3-6 sucessful logins, the site no loner accepted my password.
