‘Lost’ Pages

I Trashed a lot of pages as I was working on my new website using the Trash as a storage space, thinking I could just un-trash them after finishing work. (I had years of pages.)

I now have one page on my WP site which is my Blog page. Do I assume all the pages are gone forever? There is no Trash button at the top of the page where there used to be one. Any ideas or shall I just put it down to experience?

(I read something today about the Trashed posts and pages getting deleted forever if it is over 30 days which I think it might have been.)
