Lost page

  • It is possible to get back a page that you accidently deleted!?

    I just accidently deleted one of the pages of my website/blog via the wp-admin manage posts section. Is there any way to get it back?

  • If you have a backup of your database yes. If not, then I’m afraid that as far as I know your page is gone for good.

    Depending on how old it is, Google’s cache might come in handy. Search for a combination of a phrase that you know was in the post (or the post title) and your site name… if it wasn’t too recent, you might be able to grab it from the cache link.

    Thank you both – I checked my database, and I didn’t find a section in there for pages at all, just posts and comments. I did check Google and there is a version of the page from my old site; tis a start ??
