Lost my site: can't log back in.

  • Hi there, so I installed the child theme plug in and I can’t even log back into wordpress and I have no idea what to do. Do I have to contact my host to restore my old site? This is a nightmare. Thank you so much in advance. It looks like I will have to manually code my child theme from now on…. any advice or guidance or help is much appreciated!

  • I too, used one-click child plugin, and now cannot access my site or dashboard.
    In c-panel I have deleted the child theme folder, renamed the old imbalance 2 folder, re-uploaded a fresh copy of imbalance 2, and I still can’t get it working. It’s just blank. I’m new to word press. I’m pulling my hair out, as I just created a bunch of content, and now it looks like my last resort will be to delete the whole business and start fresh.
    Please help.

    Same situation. I get http 500 error.
    In error log: fatal error in about.php and functions.php.
