lost my drop dwon menus and getting an error message

I recently upgraded from 3.4 to 3.7 and immediatley lost a few things such as my drop down options from my main menu and now get this..

can see this has been a type of problem but cannot confidently bugger about with code unless really have to.
And, yes I have backed up.
any help would be appreciated
