• I can get to my WordPress login page, but it won’t load my dashboard. It may have something to do with

    1) my dns is still propagating as my web host just transferred my site to a new server.

    2) W3 Total Cache I just activated.

If it’s the propagation, I hope time will resolve this. I guess this is not a good time to be working on my site. If it’s the Cache, should I just delete the plugin off the FTP?

  • In my opinion it is never ever a good idea to start deleting things until you really know what the problem is.

I would contact the webhost as they may have a problem with the transfer.

    My dashboard came back.

Since the transfer of my server, I lost the right column of my dashboard. Nothing happens when I click on the “screen options”, so I can’t modify it either.

I have the Site Stats plugin installed. I used to have the quick stats on my dashboard, but now it’s gone. I can still access it by going to the Site Stats page, but I lost it on my dashboard. Is this the propagation issue too?

Again I would contact your host, they may need to take a look at the database configuration in the new environment

What do I tell my host, exactly?

It may be a propagation issue. How long has it been since you transferred?

About 40 hours. Odd to have just part of the functions not working though.

Well that’s probably not it then. Try manually deactivating all of your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

Interesting. It seemed to be the WP Greet Box. Thank you!

    You’re welcome!

I’m actually still having this problem. It doesn’t seem to be a problem with a particular plugin, because I’ve seen it recur. When I tried deactivating one by one, I thought I isolated one plugin but the problem happened again.

I’d really appreciate any help on this.

This problem keeps recurring. I don’t seem to have any functionality issue other than occasionally seeing a totally blank page, which loads if I refresh the page. So it’s mostly just annoying, but I’d like to find out why it’s doing this.

The problem is the right half of my dashboard (or the third column) keep getting lost. If I deactivate all plugins and reactivate one by one, or deactivate one by one, the dashboard gets restored temporarily until it happens again.

    I’d appreciate any help.

Is this still related to WP Greet Box or just any plugin?

Any plugin. It’s been recurring, and the issue seems to stop randomly when I either deactivate all or one by one, and again recur randomly.

I wonder if it’s problem with the Cache plugin. Try deactivating it for a week, and see if it happens again.
