lost login

After upgrading to WP 2.2, my blog was attacked by hackers via hello.php plugin. After 3 weeks, my webhost managed to clean most of the hacked files. However, my index.php is still having the hacked signs. I was told to log into my WP to change the theme as the hackings affected the WP files as well as my theme.

After restoring my wp-login.php file, I found out that I am unable to log into my WP blog. I tried to retrieve my password but I was told that my username and e-mail do not match. May I know how to I resolve this without installing another WP blog?
