A few months ago my site was migrated to another location. Alas, I did not notice till this weekend that the gallery custom links plug-in was not installed. It was left behind. The pics with their links still exist in the original location. Is it possible to install the plugin then import the pics from the previous site into the new? Otherwise, it’s a lot of work.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @claudejo,

If you migrate the site, normally the data about the links should be moved as well. It’s part of the Posts Metadata. But you can’t import this through the plugins or anything, the best way is to make sure the Posts Metadata is the same as before, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be part of the migration :/

The problem is many updates were made to the site before noticing this plug-in was not kept. Now I find myself with over 1000 pages with pics that say click here to go… and these don’t work

So I (and my web hosting fellow) are looking or hoping for a way to bring this plug in back and then the pics with the links as they were. I’m not sure how clear I am.

Unfortunately, the only way is to bring back the tables with the metadata for your attachments ??
