Lost link to all plugins on upgrade, WP admin does not ‘see’

    I was attempting to automatically upgrade a wp-backup plugin ( i was attempting to use one-click-plugin-updater) and had an error (no error code) which resulted in my WP admin no longer registering any installed plugins. the are still in the folder – viewed by ftp. but WP does not ‘see them’. I am in a huge pinch as I have no idea what to do and many people looking for this to be fixed.

    As the plugins are still where they were it seems some path in the admin must have gotten messed up. So not sure what reuploading will do. the blog posts are still working, but all content supplied by plugins is now gone.
