• My blog is https://searchingforthehappiness.com My blog keeps running slow and will go to a blank white page when I try to do maintenance. I tried updating my jetpack because I saw a note saying there was a new version. When I updated, it said I updated it and it was complete. Now jetpack is gone along with all of my subscribers. I tried to reinstall jetpack but it says its already there. In the mean time I am now getting a message that I can’t do anything because of scheduled maintenance.

How can I get jetpack back? How can I stop having my blog move slow and then go to a white screen? How can I get my subscribers and stats back?

    Thank you for the help.

  • FTP into your site (or whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the .maintenance plugin in your site’s root folder.

I have no idea how to do that. How will I get my stats back? Why do I keep getting a white page when I click on different buttons?

If your database is undamaged, your stats will be fine. As a site owner, you really need to learn how to use FTP. We can’t do anything for you from here, so, if you cannot manage this yourself, perhaps you need to consider hiring someone to carry out the work for you?

My mistake. I assumed that if I got a plugin from wordpress, and if I was using the wordpress site, I would get some help with this wordpress problem. At least I had gotten help in the past including help with my stats.

There is a limit to the help we can provide here. All we can really do is help you to help yourself. We cannot do the work for you. For that, you would need to employ someone.
