• What used to be an textbook implementation of maintenance functionality is now lost sadly due to the requirement of a bloated & messy page builder.

The version just before this allowed you to overwrite within your theme context the php file and use your own default styles etc such that the maintenance mode reflected the intended final style of the site quickly and neatly and the maintenance page would obvisouly evolve with the development of that style too if you wished.

Sincerely hope the developer reconsiders this “toxic” relationship and takes a step back to what was already a plugin at its peak.
If not, stay tuned – Ill redevelop it as it should be at some point for my own purposes and share with the community

    Hi @cosystudios,

Thank you for using the plugin and your review.

With the latest version that was released 4 weeks ago it’s already an option to skip installing the Otter plugin that gives you some free templates.
There was a demand to skip this installation not only to remove it after so it’s already in place and you can use plugin as before without installing additional plugin.
