Lost images, rewrite not right?

Update: I think I know what happened. In trying to solve the no feed issue I found and ran a php file that was supposed to remove leading and trailing blank spaces. I then deleted it. Later that day is when I started getting reports of missing images. So, timing says that has to be the cause. Now, to find that file again and see what it did….

Permalink Settings:
Month and name https://websites.msdpt.k12.in.us/technology/2014/07/sample-post/
So:
https://websites.msdpt.k12.in.us/technology/files/2014/03/Chromebooks.jpg
is suppose to equal
https://websites.msdpt.k12.in.us/wp-content/blogs.dir/30/files/2014/03/Chromebooks.jpg
But instead results in:
The image “https://websites.msdpt.k12.in.us/technology/files/2014/03/Chromebooks.jpg” cannot be displayed because it contains errors.

https://websites.msdpt.k12.in.us/technology/files/2014/03/Chromebooks.jpg loads for me….
