• Upgraded from WP 3.3 to 3.3.1 and upgraded themes as well (Brunelleschi, 2011 and 2010). Lost all options when rolling over admin menu, e.g can’t access Appearance/Editor. Tried the following:
Disabled all plug-ins, changed theme to 2012 standard, cleared firefox cache, no difference.
Upgraded firefox to 9.0, no difference.
Even tried the expanded admin menus plugin, no difference.
I’m not a WP or CSS expert so I’m hoping there’s an easy to understand solution to this? Thanks in advance for any solutions offered.
    Suse.

Okay, fresh install of WP in a subdirectory, admin still not working, now seeing in Chrome console:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL load-scripts.php:2
Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined load-scripts.php:1
Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined /wpfreshinstall/wp-admin/:57

    Anyone?

I am aghast! Ended up having to completely clean out my website, starting again with WordPress, still didn’t work properly – couldn’t see admin menus and getting same error in Chrome. Just tried it in IE 9, works perfectly!!! If anyone can explain why, please let me know. Meanwhile, I’ll be busy rebuilding my website.

There is a problem with the new WordPress release (3.3.1) and Chrome.

Might also have something to do with how badly Chrome handles HTML5. It came third (behind Internet Explorer and Firefox) in a recent test. Here are the details:

I’s suggest not using Chrome with WordPress.

But, then why won’t it still work in Firefox? Added updated Java and still doesn’t work in Firefox.

recently i had setup a lamp web server and getting the same problem with word press in that instead when i run the same in localhost it runs fine but sub-menu , quick edit and screen option is not working on the lamp server i had settled up . and hadn’t got any solution on googling for this problem. can any one help in resolving this issue??

Same problem after 3.3.1 upgrade, but only with the widget page; no top admin bar and no sidebar for dragging&dropping widgets! Happens in every browser: Chrome, Chromium, IE, Safari and Firefox.

Having the same issue with wordpress 3.3.1. I’m not able to move or edit widgets at all.

@susebb I have same problem with my wkmotorcycleadventures.com blog and dare-furniture.com blog. I try with default theme on dare-furniture.com but admin menu still cannot expand properly. Just work prefect on IE

But yesterday, after update my adobe flash player like usual routine update. my problem was solved like magic. i using win 7 and chrome.
