Lost format and featured image

    I used CPTUI to create a new custom post type then used Post Type Switcher to change one of my existing “posts” (created with the block editor) to the new type created with CPTUI. The document lost all the formatting (line spacing, bold, etc.) and the featured image (featured image is a component of the new post type). What’s the point of changing the post type if I lost all the properties? How do I do this? Thanks in advance.
