Lost everything

  • I cannot log in to my access my accounts anymore (via simplescripts, via fatcow). When I get to the wordpress log-in and put in “admin” it does not recognize my password. I have reset it a dozen times but it never works. Then it also doesn’t recognize the link to reset the password.

    In the process (panic) I “upgraded” something that completely erased my website all together.

    As of now I cannot even get to the dashboard.

    Any ideas?

    That’s what they’re called in the Simplescripts window. Basically different wordpress websites. Since I can’t get into one, I keep making new ones hoping the new one will work–they don’t.

    Delete all of the extra installs via SimpleScripts. Have you ever been able to login to the initial install?

    Well…I was able to log in to the original account (different domain than what this one is). That is until I was just working on it and messed that one up too. I was in wordpress under Settings and I switched the url to my page minus the /index

    Now I cannot access this account either. When I try it gives me a 404 message or says the site is under construction. How do I clear up this mistake?

    I have someone giving my other problems a go tonight, so I will let you know what happens there.

    I gave up last time i lost my password for my WP site, it was so frustrating to see my site, and not being able to change nor login and write new stuff about things!
