• Hi,

I’m a long time user of ACF and this plugin. I decided to update to ACF 4.22 and everything (including the paid add-ons) works but the Date and Time Picker.

Upon update all of my Date and Time Picker field turned to text field. Changing the field back to Date and Time Picker shows only placeholder texts on the post edit screen.
Since I updated at least one post with empty date and time fields, it is sure that I lost all of the previously saved date and time field data for that post (more than a hundred fields, since they are inside repeaters – it looks like revisions doesn’t store custom field data, so I cannot set the post back to prev. version…)

Is there any way I can set up the this plugin to show data saved with the previous version?

    Hi again,

Turning of saving in unix timestamp (I run several date related functions after retrieving date data) and using the date format I used with the previous version, I’m now able to use data saved earlier and able to add new rows with new date/time data without compromising older fields.

Though, a quick database check shows empty field values of the post that has been saved just after updating the plugin, so they are lost for good.

I should have checked the new version in greater depth before jumping to update. And a plus line in the changelog warning folks of the possible outcome of the update from v3 to v4 certainly wouldn’t have hurt.
