    Hi!

I completely lost access to the backend wordpress dashboard. When I login to wordpress, I’m redirected to the WCFM store manager. I even tried using old links to the WP dashboard, and it automatically redirects to the WCFM store manager.

    Please Help!!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Well, possible you are logged in as Vendor user.

WCFM has no control over Admin access.

    Thank You

    Hi

I confirmed that I’m logged in with the admin account. What else could it be?

    Hi,

Are you sure this happened after installing WCFM?

Can you please try to login once from Google Chrome incognito?

Between, is this a multi-site installation?

Delete WCFM plugin from FTP or cpanel and check!

    Thank You

Ok I disabled it. It was definitely the WCFM plugin.

I’m going to reinstall it and see if I can figure out what settings got screwed up and report back if I figure it out.

    Ok, please let me know.

But WCFM has no such settings for Admin and has no control over Admin’s access.

Please know me if you find out anything!

    Thank You

It’s specifically the frontend manager. When I disable that, I’m able to get into my WP dashboard. However, it seems that I need to have the frontend manager activated to use the marketplace.

Not sure what to do with that.

If you disable WC Frontend Manager plugin then all WCFM addons will stop working as this is WCFM core.

Well, if WCFM really has this issue then many other user will definitely have the same issue and you will see many such posts.

We didn’t know me, is this a multi-site installation?

I am pretty sure, it’s because of some other third party plugin. If possible, please do a simple test, install a fresh WordPress in your local machine and only install WooCommerce and WCFM. Check whether you are getting same issue or not!

    Thank You

Gotcha. It’s probably a plugin conflict, but I can’t get rid of the others, unfortunately.

    Thanks for the help!

    No issues, you are welcome.

Ok I got it figured out. The issue was that my admin account also had store vendor capability.

If you use bluehost, you normally click on a big “wordpress” button, and it normally takes you to your WP dashboard. If you made your admin account also a store vendor, it will automatically route you to your vendor store with no way to get back to your WP dashboard.

To fix it, you have to go to your bluehost account page–>advanced—>Preferences—->user manager (bottom of page)—->add user

Then create a new user with only admin privileges

Then go to your WP dashboard logged in with this new admin-only account
All Users (left side near the bottom)—->edit user and remove admin capabilities from old account.

    So there ya go!

Thanks for the details, this will be really helpful to many others.

Thanks again and please be safe ??
