Lost all posts and pages. Need Help!

    Hello everyone,

    My blog is movingcomp.com
    I updated contact plugin today and lost all my posts and pages. I deactivated the contact plugin to see if it will come back, but it didn’t help.

    From my dashboard I’m still able to see categories and approved/spam comments, but nothing else. In the sidebar you can see the categories with number of posts, but there are no posts.

    Any idea how can I bring everything back?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

    Thanks for your response. I’ve done everything you’ve stated, but it didn’t solve the problem. Any other ideas how to fix the problem?

    What contact plugin?

    It was Contact Form 7. After the posts and pages disappeared that was the first thing I have deleted, but it still didn’t fix the problem.

    Have you checked to see if any of your posts are still in your database?

    I’m having the same issues after upgrading to the most recent version. Home page is there, none of the menu links or story links work. Any ideas?
