Not sure what happened, but all my tables are missing from the plugin backend. I didn’t uninstall or delete anything to my knowledge.

My staging site still has all the tables, so something must have happened within the last 3 weeks-ish.

What is the best way to proceed? I tried to export/import all the tables from staging to live, but the table numbers are off. Also, the settings of the imported tables don’t seem to get maintained.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I’m not aware of any issues regarding this in the plugin, so that I can only assume that some external influence has interfered here. Just to be sure: There are no tables shown on the “List of Tables” screen at all?

There are two possibilities: Either the actual tables are gone from the “wp_posts” database table, or “just” the mapping of table ID to internal post ID (stored in the “wp_options” database table) are gone. We could check that by directly taking a look at these database tables.

Now, migrating the tables back from the staging site would indeed be worth a try here. In order to maintain the table ID and table settings, it’s important to use the JSON format for this. So, please try exporting all tables to the JSON format on the staging site. You will be getting a ZIP file that you can directly import on the live site.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

JSON worked. Thanks. I can’t seem to find your “Buy A Coffee” button anymore. Do you have the link?
