Lost all customized data after due to upgrade

    Hello Author i have worked on some of the customization with Estica and now i have lost my customization after my plugin upgrade by my client side, Currently i am working for the backup copy’s to set the site up.
    And i am looking for a child plugin to override my customization for estica plugin, Is there any child plugin i can start my all customization over there and done a smooth upgrade, looking forward for your reply, Thanks.

    Hi lisageni88,
    You need to save the copy of your customized plugin or files that were modified before the update or to make backup of the website. Thus you will never lose your changes. Then you will need to transfer your changes into new version manually.
    We warn all the time our customers about it in documentation and via newsletters.
    However we do not recommend to update the customized version if the code was changed greatly as new version may contain some major changes and you will have to adjust your customized version again and again.
