lost administrative control to my site

I just got back the editing functions to my site and now i’ve lost administrative control to my site. Contacted my host provider and I do not have any access to phpmyadmin either. Luckily just before this happened I did save a backup to my site and downloaded it to my computer. I guess if all else fails I can get my host to wipe out my entire site and start fresh. Any ideas?
