    Hi there,

I’ve tried to update WordPress to the latest version (4.6.1) a couple of days ago. I did it from /wp-admin and during the installation the page went blank and never returned to normal. Now I can’t access the admin page anymore.

To clarify: the website is still working fine, and I can indeed see the wp-admin login page; however, after I login, I am simply led to a blank page.

How could I possibly make it work again?

    Kind regards

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Amazing! It was one of the plugins indeed, thank you so much!
