• I’ve been setting up a new multisite. I’ve installed/configured buddypress and finally had everything configured. After all the testing I did I hadn’t thought that logging out of the admin account would be the last time I could do anything…

I cannot login again and the password reset doesn’t work, that simply says “Disabled” when I use it.

Any direction on how to resolve this would be great.

I had installed Active Directory Integration (ADI) and configured it, tested it and all seemed well. So I installed Buddypress and then configured it and tested it. Again, all seemed well so I logged out and found I could no longer login as the admin account.

I worked around the issue by changing the admin account details directly in MySQL’s wordpress db. The admin account remained valid while I was logged in but the installation of ADI changed the way the account is seen by wordpress. Once I updated the user_login and user_nicename to match what ADI is looking for the password worked and I got in again.
