With a recent update, I lost access to WP-Optimize in the subsites of a multisite installation. The link located on the menu for the admin panel has disappeared completely and when I try to access the Optimzer or Settings in the Plugin panel, it takes me to the main site.

This is fine for optimizing the database, since it optimizes all the tables for every subsite, but I no longer have access to delete post revisions on the subsites. I make tons of changes to posts, and deleting these post revisions helped tremendously in speeding up my site. For instance, I have 64 post revisions on the linked post that I do not need.

Is there anyway I can access WP-Optimze on the subsites now?

Never mind, I see you’ve stopped supporting Multisite with the free version and now I must pay for the Premium version to use your product.

    Hi Exme,

Not quite. The free version never supported multisite – it has never optimized tables outside of the base site. The Premium version has added multisite support. So, when it appeared in all admin panels sites, it wasn’t because it worked on individual sub-sites; it didn’t. This was, in effect, a security issue, allowing admins to have super-admin powers (really, only super-admins should be able to run optimize operations).

Weird, it would show it was running through the tables for all the sites whenever I would use it on one of the subsites. Either way, it’s no longer an issue. I’ve purchased licenses for the Premium version.
