Lost acces to parameters ?

    Hi there.

    I go back to my website admin section after I didn’t check for a while, and I lost Worfence menu …
    I try the url …/wp-admin/admin.php?page=Wordfence I got a grey screen with short message (sorry it is in French) :
    “Désolé, vous n’avez pas l’autorisation d’accéder à cette page.”
    I am not allow, I don’t have the rights…?
    Any idea ?

    I updated every plugin, WordPress and php, same problem…

    Hi @patrickhaond, thanks for getting in touch.

    Have you tried disabling all other plugins and your theme in favour of just Wordfence on a default theme such as Twenty Twenty-Three? I ask this to eliminate any custom code (in the case of themes) or errors elsewhere that could be stopping your Wordfence admin pages loading properly.

    If things work under the above conditions, try enabling your plugins and theme one-by-one until the issue reoccurs.

    If the pages still don’t load when trying the above, I would try removing Wordfence from WordPress > Plugins > Installed Plugins and reinstalling again as updates can sometimes go wrong mid-way through and result in seemingly incomplete/missing features.

    Thank you @wfpeter for your answer.
    Actually the folder /www/wp-content/plugins/wordfence was empty !
    I didn’t know if I did something wrong…
    I get bacl the folder content from a past backup and then it is ok.
    But that’s weird.
