Lost Ability To Add Sliders To Posts

    G’day there,
    This is an urgent request that requires attention as soon as possible please.
    I have been using this plugin alongside the Virtue theme and it was all working fine until a couple of days ago.
    It seems that for some reason i am no longer able to add an image slider per post. I originally thought that the issue was on the server but after trying this plugin on another installation i found that it worked. Anyway i then reinstalled the plugin on the problematic installation to see if the issue was resolved and it still was not working.
    What am i missing here? Why is it that i can no longer add a slider to a post, I have checked screen options and the option isn’t there either. Is there a limit to how many times it can be used? or is there something i need to do?

    Please help as i need this fixed as soon as possible!

  • I have the same issue with Pinnacle free version. The Portfolio Post Options is missing from the portfolio page. I installed the latest plugin version 3.2 which actually includes portfolio options as part of the update. The custom fields also don’t work.

    Anyone know if they’ve now removed this from the free version?

    To both, we did not remove this from the free version. Can you tell me what plugins your using so I can try to recreate and figure out whats happening?

    Just Jetpack,
    It was working fine but out of no where it just stopped…

    Are you working with a child theme? That might be the culprit. Check your style.css.

    It should read as follows.

    Matt, you are looking in the apperance > theme options > home slider. Correct?

    The option to add a slide isn’t there at all or you just can’t click on it?

    ok, so you do see the options for home slider though right? In your theme options page?

    And I keep saying theme options because this is very different from the customizer.

    Do you see an option to choose what slider you want to show? A select box?

    Yeah in theme options it all shows fine, it’s just on the posts page that i loose the ability to see it in post options. Strange thing is that if i have a featured image on my post it will show where the banner should be.

    Ok, I’m confused now. lets clarify:

    1. Can you see the home slider options in your theme options?

    2. Can you select to choose a slider and add slides?

    3. The above two options are not effected weather you set the home page as a static page or a post page. So what are you losing on the posts page?

    Sounds good

    So if anyone else is reading this Matts issues came from renaming the theme folder and theme name. You can’t do that and have everything work like it’s supposed to, you can use a child theme though.
