Lost a week of GA data

Upgraded to the latest version of WordPress 4.9.7 and only discovered a few days later in GA there have been no site visits. I then went into the plugin settings only to find the integration authorization code with GA has been lost and hence no GA tracking code on the site. Reauthorizing it works but it will wipe itself again overnight. A message to the plugin support team was never returned.
