Loss Of URL in Admin side, site now fails to load

Hello everyone,

I currently am working contract to help a company out to get a blog live. Apparently it went live today without them giving the OK so in the rush of the moment to pull down the half finished blog the owner deleted the URL from the administrative side of the wordpress isntallation.

Because of this, it seems wordpress will now only load the installation for itself rather than load the website at all.

How can I get around this to resolve it? How can either edit the config file for WP or the SQL database to bring the site backonline? Since our hosting company is a joke, trying to get them to resolve an issue or give up the SQL database information just to reinstall would take ages.

Any suggestions? Please help!
