Loss of theme options

  • Hi there,
    I have been using the free Customizr theme for about a year. In general I have been pleased with it.

    However, since the latest update, when I change the status of a post from Published to Draft, I completely lose all my theme options. This has happened 3 times now. I am unable to restore my site from database backups, even when I have all plugins disabled. At first I thought this was because the options were being stored in a new way. However, after painstakingly going through and manually restoring all of the options and thus creating data that would be valid in the new version, I am still unable to restore from database backup.

    As changing the publication state is vital for the continued operation of my site, fixing this problem is critical. I will need to find another theme if this is unaddressed. Thank you.

  • do you use any caching system? Did you try to clean the caches and disable them and see if it still occurs?
    Also, what’s your hosting provider?

    Do you happen to remember from which theme version did you upgrade?
