When going from 2.7.20 to 2.9.10 the admin display changes and access to categories is lost. Please see the screenshots of the differences.

Seems like every update breaks something else.

It may resolve the issue if you reset Pods Cache under Pods > Settings, or run the repair tool under Pods > Settings > Tools.

@msteelnapcocom If you are around, I can help you right now on our Live Community Slack at https://support.pods.io/chat/

We maybe be able to quickly determine what may be going on here with your site.

Clearing the cache did not change anything.

OK. That was one of three suggestions. Did you try the repair tool or logging into Slack to contact Scott?

I ran the repair, all the groups said, “No actions were needed.” and there was no change in the pod admin.

I should have time to try and find you on Slack on Friday maybe we can schedule a time.

Sure —?it would likely be easiest to coordinate a time with Scott on Slack.

I tried a test upgrade from 2.7.20 to 2.9.10.2 on a clean install where a Custom Post Type was related to Categories and Tags and a custom taxonomy, but the upgrade went fine. It may be worth checking for permissions or plugin conflicts. If that pans out, Scott can likely inspect your install to find a resolution.
