Losing sort on page 2

https://trinitylighting.com/I am having a very strange problem with apparently 1 category, Table.
When you view this category on the demo site, and click to page 2, everything stays sorted properly (newest first).
Do the same thing on the live site, again Table category, click page 2 and part of the products from the end of page 1 show up first. Click back to page 1 and there are 1-2 empty spots at the bottom of the page.
Both sites had 1.1.0.3 installed until today and both have been upgraded to 1.1.0.5 and the problem is still happening.
All I am trying to accomplish is to see the newest products first in any category and be able to page through them as one would expect. The other categories (Floor, Wall, etc) all seem to be working perfectly.
The weird thing about the category is the filter is called “Type” and it is a custom sort because the sidebar needs to be in a certain order. All of the other categories have filter names that don’t seem to be reserved words and are sorted by name. Just shooting in the dark here as to what’s going on.
