    Hi,

I’m migrating to this plugin from the Post Content Shortcodes plugin. I’ve noticed a significant difference between the two however in that when posting the content of a page, the paragraph tags are missing.

I have pages which are currently built in the classic editor, which when are outputting with Post Content Shortcodes include p tags where line breaks were used in the editor When they are ouputt with this plugin, the p tags are missing

    This obviously breaks the formatting!

Any ideas how to fix this?

Using paragraph tags is the default behavior; are you using the inline wrapper either in the shortcode or in the plugin settings? If so, note that the HTML spec doesn’t allow <p> tags inside <span> tags:

If you want to embed pages inline (for example, you can insert a link to a page in the flow of a normal paragraph), you should use inline tags. Note that the HTML spec does not allow block level elements within inline elements, so the inline wrapper has limited use.

    Hi, yeah that was it.

I’d selected the span option as the other option didn’t seem to return anything at all! It’s working now on the div tag, so I’m guessing it was another combination of the settings I haven’t worked out yet…
