About 10-12% of our orders become cancelled because the time limit is reached. A few people tell us they can’t order, but most just go away and don’t return.
This is a problem. And it has been like that for a long time.

I believe the problem mostly happens when people without paypal accounts try to pay with card. Can’t say for sure. But it is a problem that people leave and don’t return. Any ideas?

    Hi there!

Can you please copy-paste the contents in the order notes so that we can translate to reconfirm what’s happening here?

It does look like the order is automatically canceled due to hold stock time though. You can read more about the option at [Inventory Options Documentation](https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/configuring-woocommerce-settings/#inventory-options).

If you increase the hold stock time under WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory, does that make a difference?

You can also disable this feature by leaving that field blank.

    Yes, that might be it!

I see that the “Hold Stock” in the docs is set to 10080 minutes (7 days), and mine was set to only 60 minutes.

7 days seems a bit excessive though – sure it doesn’t work with less, let’s say 3 days?

I will try it and see. Thank you!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
