losing formatting when cutting and pasting in wordpress

Hi all,

I’ve been having a problem which is new to 2.9.x ever since upgrading, I can’t seem to copy over from 1 post to another on the rich text formatting without losing the formating, including pull quotes.

That’s not too much of a problem as I can just copy over the HTML. However, even when I try to cut and past the say, pull quote or, drop caps with the RT editor within a post, the formatting is lost. I have to do it via HTML… which is a bit more time consuming and for some of my contributors, irritating. I was wondering if there was a work around? I;ve tried playing around with the options, searching google etc but to no avail… help!
