Losing Data

    I finished adding a great deal of data on this DRAFT page yesterday. A couple of days ago, this page lost some data on the page but then, between yesterday and today, that page is completely empty except for the theme. There was an accordion on the page and I am using the DIVI template. Don’t know if it is plugins (safe mode made no difference), database connections, php, or something else.

    I was able to use a revision from yesterday to retrieve the missing data. The most recent revision only had code in the “removed” column and nothing in the “added” column. I am very concerned that this may happen again so I turned backups off for now.

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus does not run any code if the UpdraftPlus Backups tab is not opened or if it is not running any backup.

    It was on when I was having the problem but I suspect it may be the accordion on the page. I am also working with the theme (DIVI) folks to find out if that is true. Thanks for responding – I will let you know if it still looks like it is the backups.
